Nixfon
signs memorandum of understanding with ATCEN
Petaling
Jaya: With Human Capital Development
and Strategic Talent Management set to grow
in Malaysia in 2007, Nixfon (M) Sdn Bhd is pleased
to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) with ATCEN Sdn Bhd. The MOU will mainly
see Nixfon and ATCEN cooperate to develop and
market new human capital and talent management
solutions.
Present
at the signing ceremony were Manu Gopinathan,
Business Development Director and G. Gunasekaran,
Operations Director from Nixfon and ATCEN Chief
Executive Officer Ernie Chen. Chen said that
the partnership represented a tremendous opportunity
for growth and synergy for both companies in
the region. “I see great potential in
this partnership due to the focus and strengths
of both companies - ATCEN with its core expertise
in providing best practices for Human Capital
Development and Nixfon a software solutions
service provider that specializes in Human Capital
and Talent Management solutions. The strategic
partnership will enable both ATCEN and Nixfon
to provide value added services to our clients.”
“At
present, we have designed and developed a Training
Management system branded as the ATCEN Training
Management System (ATMS) with the ATCEN Team.
With ATCEN’s vast experience in the area
of Human Capital and Talent Development, I am
confident that the system will offer profitable
and advantageous business solutions for any
organization,” said Gopinathan. He added
that Nixfon’s role would mainly comprise
of project implementation, support and product
enhancement.
Chen
and Gopinathan also agreed that training and
development is rapidly growing and plays a crucial
role in helping Malaysia’s push towards
creating a sustainable and competitive advantage
through human capital. “As part of the
Ninth Malaysia Plan, a budget of RM45 billion
was allocated for education and training for
the next five years,” said Gopinathan.
“With RM 4.8 billion alone being spent
on training, this proves that the government
is committed to developing and retaining capable,
talented and competent people in the country.
Such a massive outlay only means that there
will be a need for automated systems to track
and to manage the process for both private and
public sectors to cut costs, quicken the training
management process and to stay competitive,”
added Chen.
