will employ ETWeb™ Enterprise on a global
scale to support 25,000 managers’ Talent
Processes
March 2, 2007
Düsseldorf
– EADS, a global leader in aerospace,
defence and other related services recently
chose StepStone's ETWeb™ Enterprise as
the best solution for supporting their strategic
HR processes for Succession Planning and Performance
Management. As a result, ETWeb will be deployed
on a global scale to support 25,000 managers
via self-service.
“To
support the decentralised situation at EADS,
we will implement a Global Talent Warehouse
with interfaces to SAP, PeopleSoft and other
existing HR Systems. To generate a fast acceptance
at EADS, ETWeb will be fully integrated into
EADS-Portal including single-sign-on and a familiar
EADS look-and-feel,” said Dr. Andreas
Hoynigg, Managing Director at ExecuTRACK Software.
The
Group includes the aircraft manufacturer Airbus,
the world's largest helicopter supplier Eurocopter
and the joint venture MBDA, the international
leader in missile systems. EADS is the major
partner in the Eurofighter consortium, is the
prime contractor for the Ariane launcher, develops
the A400M military transport aircraft and is
the largest industrial partner for the European
satellite navigation system Galileo. EADS emerged
in 2000 from the link-up of the German DaimlerChrysler
Aerospace AG, the French Aerospatiale Matra
and CASA of Spain. EADS employs about 113,000
people at more than 70 production sites, above
all in France, Germany, Great Britain and Spain
as well as in the U.S. and Australia.
